Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly had a bid accepted by Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas for playmaker Yannick Zakri.

Egyptian publication KingFut claims that Sundowns have had a bid of US$350,000 (R4.7-million) accepted by ASEC for the 25-year-old Ivorian international.

They have reportedly beaten off interest from a number of teams, including Egyptian giants Al Ahly, who had an offer of US$200,000 (R2.7-million) rebuffed last week.

Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane had suggested he would be signing a “number 10” playmaker, the same jersey number worn by Zakri at ASEC.

The signing could also signal that 'Downs are ready to let Keagan Dolly leave for Europe, where he has courted interest from a number of clubs, either in this transfer window or the next.
