Neymar fires Brazil to semi-finals of Rio Olympics

Brazil will face Honduras in the Olympic Games semi-finals on Wednesday after seeing off Colombia in the last-eight.

The tournament hosts beat their neighbours 2-0 thanks to a fine free-kick from Neymar and second-half strike from Luan in Sao Paulo on Sunday.

Earlier, Germany thumped Portugal 4-0 to set up a semi-final clash with Nigeria.

Honduras stunned South Korea 1-0 in the previous round of the competition, while Nigeria defeated Denmark 2-0.

Brazil progressed to the knockout stages of the event as Group A winners along with Denmark. South Africa came last in the pool behind Iraq with two points from three matches.
