KickOff.com can reveal that Orlando Pirates have recalled defender Tercious Malepe from Moroka Swallows.
Malepe, who was part of the South Africa Under-23 squad that participated at the Rio Olympics, spent last season on loan at Swallows in the National First Division.
However, new Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral has brought the national U-20 captain back to Mayfair.
Malepe and his Olympic teammates Abbubaker Mobara and Thabiso Kutumela will link up with Ertugral's squad today after arriving back in the country from Brazil this past Friday.
Meanwhile, Ertugral sees a bright future for new signing Justice Chabalala. The former Free State Stars man partnered Edwin Gyimah in central defence in the Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup win over Platinum Stars at Moruleng Stadium on Saturday.
"He is very good young boy that has a bright future. He is very strong on one-on-one," says Ertugral.
"He needs to understand the game, he drifts sometimes out quickly. We need to see and work on him otherwise he is a great defender in the making."
