Jomo Cosmos have snapped up Burundian striker Kevin Ndayisenga ahead of the start of yet another stint in the National First Division.
Ndayisenga has been brought in as a replacement for Zimbabwean forward Charlton Mashumba who has since joined Highlands Park.
KickOff.com has been told that Ndayisenga made a huge impression during trials last month and has now travelled back home to sort out work permit related papers.
He has signed a three-year contract and will be expected to carry the goal scoring responsibilities on his shoulders when the season starts later on this month.
The 26 year-old has been playing for AO Bujumbura back home after his proposed move to Tanzanian club Simba SC fell through last year and will be the fourth Burundian attached to a South African club after Cosmos teammate Frederic Nsabiyumva, Papy Faty of BidVest Wits and Fiston Abdul-Razak at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Cosmos have also already brought in the Namibian duo of Denzil Hoebeb and Junior Gebhardt as Jomo Sono presses ahead with plans of making yet another comeback to the PSL next year.
Ezenkosi have retained a sizeable number of players from the squad that they had last season in the PSL.
