Goalkeeper Virgil Vries extends Maritzburg United stay

Namibian goalkeeper Virgil Vries will be staying on at Maritzburg United after agreeing a new two-year contract.

Vries, who joined the Team of Choice in 2013, has been first-choice stopper for the past two seasons in KwaZulu-Natal, and will now stay on at the Harry Gwala Satdium for another two years.

Jazzman Mahlakgane, who represents Vries, has confirms the deal.

Vries, who kept four clean sheets in his 12 League starts last season, has previously played for Golden Arrows during his time in the PSL.
