Former AmaZulu striker Ayanda Dlamini is on the hunt for a new team after failing to land a deal with Cape Town City.
Dlamini was trying his luck at the PSL newbies, after being released from Usuthu at the end of last season, but failed to impress coach Eric Tinkler.
The 31-year-old attacker, who was also unsuccesful in his recent trial at Maritzburg United, says he will continue his search for another team along with his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane.
"Nothing happened and the club didn't sign me," Dlamini confirms to KickOff.com. "They said they have enough strikers but we will see how things go.
"We are trying elsewhere as we are also speaking to other clubs."
Dlamini made over 100 appearances since joining AmaZulu back in 2009, and was part of the team that lost to Bidvest Wits in the 2010 Nedbank Cup final.
City, however, have since announced the signing of defender Robyn Johannes, who was also on the books of the Durban-based National First Division side for the past two seasons.
