Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele says the whole team has been boosted by the return from injury of captain Oupa Manyisa.
Manyisa missed a big chunk of the past campaign, his last outing coming in September 2015 when he suffered an ankle injury. The 28-year-old midfielder is now back and will start in tomorrow’s Carling Black Label Champion Cup tie against Kaizer Chiefs.
Jele, who shares skipper duties with Manyisa and Thabo Matlaba, says everyone at the club is excited to have ‘Ace’ back.
“I think we’re happy at the moment you know. We lost our captain last year and now he’s back and I believe that each and everyone is happy. We want to support him and yeah, we’re happy,” Jele tells KickOff.com.
The long-serving Pirates right-back adds that the team is enjoying life under new head coach Muhsin Ertugral. “We're happy with the new coach. So far so good. He’s doing wonders with the team,” he concludes.
