Bloemfontein Celtic retain Mthokozisi Dube from Pirates

Posted: 29 July 2016 Time: 09:37

Bloemfontein Celtic managing director Rali Ramabodu says defender Mthokozisi Dube will remain at the club for another season on loan from Orlando Pirates.

Dube gained admirers at Phunya Sele Sele last term and could earn a permanent deal in the City of Roses if he continues to add value in 2016/17.

"We got him on loan again and he is here and he arrived yesterday," Ramabodu tells KickOff.com.

"We agreed with Pirates with one season on loan and he will start training today... we are hoping to get him with an option to buy next season, so you never know."

Meanwhile, Ramabodu indicated Celtic have not received any offers for transfer-listed left-back Thabang Matuka.

"Nothing happened as yet with him as he's still with the club," he says.

Ugandan striker Geofrey Massa was transfer-listed alongside Matuka but has since linked up with PSL newcomers Baroka FC.
