Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung says the club has accepted Sibusiso Vilakazi’s move to Mamelodi Sundowns.
The former Bidvest Wits man was reportedly one of Chiefs' targets, but in the end he joined the Absa Premiership champions in a deal that saw Mogakolodi Ngele and striker Cuthbert Malajila join the Students.
Despite losing out on 'Vila', Motaung says Chiefs have no hard feelings.
“He’s never been a Chiefs player and we appreciate that he’s finally moved on from Wits and if Sundowns is what his destiny was supposed to be, so be it and we accept it,” Motaung tells KickOff.com.
“I mean it’s what maybe was destined for him so we’re not jealous, we’re not unhappy. It’s not for us to say anything, it’s for Sundowns and Wits. It looks like a good deal, Wits have benefited well from that deal. It’s okay but for us there’s no hard feelings at all,” he reiterates.
