Amakhosi this morning confirmed the duo's capture.

Komphela worked with striker Moon at Maritzburg United, while fellow 19-year-old Ngezana has followed Emmanuel Letlotlo in gaining promotion from the club's development ranks.

Moon has been given jersey number 29 at Naturena, with Ngezana handed number 30.

“Ryan is one for the future,” Komphela told Chiefs' website. “He will give us options as a striker and on the flanks.

“He played a few games for Maritzburg towards the end of last season and watching his play, he ticks all the boxes. He has strong qualities and with proper integration into the Chiefs way, he will bring value to the team.”

Moon, the younger brother of ex-Bafana Bafana fullback Bryce, expressed excitement at linking up with the Soweto giants.

“I am excited and over the moon to be joining a big club like Chiefs,” Moon said. “I am honoured to be part of this exciting brand. The facilities here are amazing and this will help take my game to the next level.”

Komphela also believes in the talent of lanky centre-back Ngezana.

“Siya is a product of our development structures,” said Komphela. “We are happy with his progress and we are bringing him to the first team to feel the exact pressure. He is strong and has a good chance to develop into a fine player.”

Komphela added: “Our scouting network and development structures are beginning to take shape. We are having a number of players from our development in the senior squad.”

Ngezana has vowed to work hard in the senior squad.

“I am happy to be given this opportunity,” said Ngezana. “I am looking forward to work hard and learn from the experienced players.”

The Glamour Boys have recruited heavily in the off-season, bringing in the likes of former Mamelodi Sundowns captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele and midfielders Keagan Buchanan and Enocent Mkhabela.
