Posted: 14 July 2016 Time: 19:07

Kaizer Chiefs newcomer Keagan Buchanan is expected to resume full training in October at Naturena, while Siphiwe Tshabalala should make his return in three weeks.

The Soweto giants signed Buchanan from Bloemfontein Celtic in June, with the player still recovering from a knee injury sustained in January.

Fellow midfielder 'Shabba' has started light training as he makes his way back from recent knee surgery.

Meanwhile, Glamour Boys striker Camaldine Abraw will also have an operation on his knee this month, and will be sidelined from six to nine months.

An update on the trio's fitness was provided on Amakhosi's official website.

Chiefs, who are on a pre-season camp, will contest the annual Carling Black Label Champion Cup against Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on July 30.
