Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa has confirmed to KickOff.com that the club has signed Thabo Mosadi from University of Pretoria on a permanent basis.

KickOff on Saturday reported that the player was close to signing a deal with the Urban Warriors, with De Sa confirming that the player will be at Ikamva this season.

"We've been watching him for a while now and we are glad to have his services,” De Sa said.

"We were looking for a winger for a while and Mosadi is the answer - he's going to be a good one."

De Sa insists he would have signed a winger regardless if Orlando Pirates-bound Riyaad Norodien had remained in the Cape.

"Even if (Riyaad) Norodien would've stayed, we still would've acquired  a winger,” he said.”Iit would've kept Riyaad on his toes you know."

Mosadi joins the Urban Warriors after his Tuks' outfit were relegated to the National First Division last season.

Mosadi is believed to have been handed a three-year contract, with the club set to make an official announcement soon.
