Chippa United midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni says he is ready for any challenge amid reported interest from Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
The 27-year-old’s future has recently been the subject of intense speculation, with both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs reportedly chasing his signature.
Sangweni had turned down offers from both Soweto giants, however, he now says he is ready for anything should a move present itself.
“I learnt a lot of things at Mamelodi Sundowns. Even when I left, coach Pitso didn’t want me to go but I forced my way out because I wanted to play at the time," Sangweni tells KickOff.com.
"I think I’m ready now. Whatever happens, I’m ready."
The former AmaZulu attacker believes his lack of patience at Chloorkop clouded his judgement and lead him to leave a good club in Downs.
"I did get the chance to play [at Sundowns], and sometimes I had good games; sometimes not so good," he adds.
"I always wanted to play but there were other players [in the squad who wanted the same] as well.
"So I think my lack of patience there is what caused problems."
