Attacking midfielder Sifiso Myeni and left-back Patrick Phungwayo are reportedly set to headline the names of players that will be put on the transfer-list by Orlando Pirates.

The Buccaneers are set to confirm the names of the players on their transfer-list tomorrow and Myeni, a regular under former coach Eric Tinkler, is not in Muhsin Ertugral’s plans.

The other players that could be heading for the exit door at Mayfair include Rooi Mahamutsa, Thandani Ntshumayelo, Yasser Mugerwa, Mpho Mvelase and Felipe Ovono.

According to a KickOff.com source close to Pirates, Gladwin Shitolo is likely to be retained by the new coach following his return from a successful loan spell at Golden Arrows.

“[Thamsanqa] Gabuza is likely to stay. Some of the players are only going out on loan,” explains the source.

One of Mugerwa or Ovono needs to make way for new foreign recruit Bernard Morrison to take up the fifth allocated spot alongside Issa Sarr, Edwin Gyimah and Tendai Ndoro. If both leave, Pirates will have four foreign spots occupied.

The Sea Robbers have recently brought in Donald Mokondelela and Thamsanqa Mkhize formerly of Baroka FC and Maritzburg United respectively.
