Cheslyn Jampies, Mpho Maruping and Dean Hotto could all reportedly be unveiled alongside Khethokwakhe Masuku when Bloemfontein Celtic officially announce their new signings.
Celtic have confirmed plans to unveil their new players on Sunday, and KickOff.com has been given the names of some of the players who have been seen around the club by a source very close to Siwelele.
Jomo Cosmos defender Jampies has also been the subject of interest from Orlando Pirates, while Maruping was expected to leave relegated University of Pretoria now that his contract has expired.
Meanwhile, our source also reveals that Lerato Lamola and Vuyani Ntanga are set to join Golden Arrows as part of a swap deal for Hotto.
Lamola is expected to finalise his move to Abafana Bes’thende later today after asking to be released when the two parties failed to reach an agreement about an improved financial deal.
The striker – who scored 13 league goals in the 2014/15 season – still had a year left on his Celtic contract but it appears the club have decided to use him as part of the deal to sign Namibia international Hotto.
“Lamola won't be playing for us next season, yesterday at training the coach told him not to come to training today as his move to Arrows is almost a done deal. The only thing left now is for Max [Tshabalala] to sign the paperwork,” reveals the source.
“The club is very busy behind closed doors making big changes in their playing personnel, but they've decided to keep everything secret. The new players are not even allowed to train with the rest of the team as that will spoil the club’s player unveiling plans.”
Former Free State Stars striker Moeketsi Mvula is also one of the new signings at Celtic, who are determined to strengthen and improve on a disappointing last season.
Bevan Fransman is reportedly joining Maritzburg United, and Patrick Tignyemb will replace him as the club captain.
Celtic had also previously claimed to be close to signing Lehlohonolo Majoro from Orlando Pirates, but that deal now appears to be going nowhere.
