Frederic Nsabiyumva to leave Jomo Cosmos

Posted: 26 June 2016 Time: 18:41

Jomo Cosmos appear set to lose their Burundian defender Frederic Nsabiyumva, with KickOff.com sources suggesting that Ezenkosi are already preparing for his departure.

Nsabiyumva stood firm at the back despite Cosmos eventually getting relegated back to the First Division, and his performances have caught the eyes of a couple of clubs.

“Fred is still deciding about his next destination out of the options that are there and those that are hanging in the balance,” a source tells this website.

“He values game-time and so doesn’t want to end in a situation where he ends up at a club where is he is not playing.”

The 21-year-old has already returned to the country to sort out paperwork related to his working visa documents as his previous permit is due to expire soon.

Jomo Sono has already made it known that though he will be keen to retain Nsabiyumva, he will have no qualms in letting him go should the appropriate offer be presented.
