Thanduyise Khuboni has an offer from Europe after Aces release

Posted: 22 June 2016 Time: 17:21

KickOff.com has established that the option of a move to Europe is being considered for Thanduyise Khuboni following confirmation that he will not be staying with Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Last month Aces told KickOff.com that Khuboni’s deal at the club after two years will not be extended based on financial reasons and not anything performance-related as he had been an influential regular towards the club’s fourth-place finish last term.

Though local options are being pursued by his handlers, the possibility of a move to a destination being touted to be in Scandinavia is on the cards.

“We are talking to a number of clubs locally. Actually we might have an opportunity for him in Europe,” says an official who works in the office of his representatives.

The 30-year-old is an experienced midfielder who played for Bafana Bafana at the 2010 World Cup and spent eight years playing first-team football at Golden Arrows.
