Golden Arrows talking to reported Orlando Pirates target Limbikani Mzava

Posted: 21 June 2016 Time: 16:56

Contrary to previous reports, Malawian defender Limbikani Mzava has not joined Orlando Pirates and could soon be heading to Golden Arrows for next season.

Mzava was reported by other media to be on his way to Pirates two weeks ago, according to new Black Aces owner John Comitis.

However, KickOff.com has gathered that the Malawi international is now talking to Abafana Bes’thende with the intention to relocate to Durban next season instead of to Cape Town with Aces.

An official at Arrows has confirmed that the club is talking to Mzava with the hope of luring him into their ranks for next season.

“Yes, it’s true. We are interested in Mzava. We are talking to him,” confirms the official, who wished not to be named.

“But the chairlady [Mato Madlala] is the right person to speak to,” he adds.

Madlala could not be reached for comment.
