Bloemfontein Celtic considering paying out Geofrey Massa to leave

Bloemfontein Celtic are faced with having to pay out Geofrey Massa if their wish of offloading the Ugandan striker is to come true.
Though Massa was only brought in at the beginning of last season on a three-year deal, Celtic are no longer keen to have him as the main man leading their attack and are thus trying to find ways to get rid of him.
The feeling amongst the decision-makers at Celtic is that Massa hasn’t given the club much what they thought he would bring when they dug deep into their pockets to sign him last year.
“The club wants to make a business decision with regards to Massa because so far it has made no economic sense to have him at the club,” reveals an informant.
“The truth is that he has disappointed so far and the club feels they will be better off without him, especially considering the kind of money that he earns.”
A return of just two league goals from the 30-year-old has not been enough to convince Celtic to keep him at the club any longer.
However, the challenge that Siwelele face is how to part ways with Massa, who still has a running contract and will have to be paid a hefty amount to walk away.
Celtic have not placed Massa’s name on their transfer list despite evidently not having him in their plans because they don’t want to burn their fingers.
