Wayde Jooste to join Golden Arrows next season

Posted: 9 June 2016 Time: 19:26

KickOff.com has learnt that former Bloemfontein Celtic defender Wayde Jooste could be joining former coach Clinton Larsen at Golden Arrows next season.

Jooste announced his departure from Phunye Sele Sele after deciding against renewing his contract beyond it's expiry at the end of June.

A source close to the club has since revealed that the 24-year-old will be reuniting with his former mentor Larsen at the Durban club next season.

"He will be joining Arrows next season to join Larsen, who knows him very well and admires his ability and work ethic," says the source.

"He has been issued with his clearance by Celtic and will join the club on a free transfer."

Jooste made his PSL debut on November 3, 2013 and managed 10 starts and two substitute appearances at the Free State-based outfit last season.
