KickOff.com has been informed that new Black Aces boss John Comitis wants to bring Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka back to Cape Town.

Comitis knows Maluleka very well from when he was still part of Ajax Cape Town management, before the former South Africa Under-23 star left to join SuperSport United.

In what will be a major shake-up at Aces ahead of next season, presumably including a name change, Maluleka has been earmarked as one of the players that Comitis wants to have at his new club.

“He [Comitis] wants players he worked with before at Ajax and he knows those players and he has identified them,” a source tells KickOff.com.

“He has already brought back Ian Taylor as the assistant coach, who worked for him at Ajax, and he wants George Maluleka back at the club. He has spoken to Kaizer Motaung of his interest in the player.”

The 27-year-old Maluleka scored two goals and two assists in 26 league appearances this past season for Amakhosi. He was not named as one of the 20 players who are no longer part of the plans at Naturena.
