Cole Alexander rates in-demand Ajax duo Travis Graham, Bantu Mzwakali

Cole Alexander believes Ajax Cape Town stars Travis Graham and Bantu Mzwakali would fit in at any club in South Africa.

Alexander played with the in-demand pair at Ajax before galvanising his career at Polokwane City over the past two seasons.

The 26-year-old has since joined SuperSport United ahead of 2016/17.

“You know before my move to Polokwane City, I always felt that that was the end of the world because all I ever wanted was to play for Ajax, and when that didn’t happen I thought that was the end of me,” Alexander tells KickOff.com.

“Honestly, I owe everything to Ajax because they taught me all that I know and I will always be indebted to them, they are a great club. But a mistake that these boys mustn’t make is to think that it is the end of the world if they do not succeed there.

“That is the mistake I made and it is not true, there is plenty of opportunities out there. Yes it’s difficult because you must get out of your comfort zone and leave your family and everything and go to be by yourself. But it is possible, look at me.

“I think Travis is in a very tricky situation because he is the captain of the club and he is the core of the team, but I would think that the decision is entirely up to him to make.

“I think he is a complete footballer and would fit in everywhere he goes because he is a guy that gets his head in the job and gets the job done. But the decision is entirely his to make.

“I have always rated Bantu highly, even before he was a professional, I used to watch him from the academy. I’ve been telling a lot of people about his quality and he has amazing ability. And he would easily play at any club he decides to go to in South Africa.”
