Erwin Isaacs says he intends to honour his contract with Ajax Cape Town despite the fact that the club is making way with surplus baggage.
Isaacs’ comment follows after his teammates like Franklin Cale, Ruzaigh Gamildien and Ashley Hartog was told to look for a new employer.
Asive Langwe, who was on loan from Wits, has also moved back to his parent club.
Isaacs, who has a year left on his contract informed, Kick Off.com that he is prepared to work harder next season.
Isaacs told KickOff.com: "For now I’ll enjoy the break and spend more time with my family.
"But I shall be starting with my own pre-season preparations pretty soon. You can never start too early.
"The danger is that you can put on weight quickly if you’re not on top of things, you know.
"It’s also important that the team start the new season with good a spirit.
"I expect us to perform much better next season. We’ve had a mixed bag the season pass – it was full of ups and downs for obvious reasons.
Meanwhile, the Ajax captain Travis Graham also hinted that he will not leave the Cape irrespective interests from the Soweto giants.
"No team has approached me yet, I'm still 100% focused on Ajax," said Graham.
