Bloemfontein Celtic, Polokwane City want Kurt Lentjies

Bloemfontein Celtic and Polokwane City could move for Kurt Lentjies after his contract negotiations with Maritzburg United stalled.

The 31-year-old midfielder’s current deal with the Team of Choice expires at the end of June, and KickOff.com has learnt that the two parties are some way off in their discussions.

And it seems he won’t be short of potential suitors, with a source telling this website: “Lentjies was contacted by Celtic earlier this year because they were interested in signing him. Except for Celtic there is also Polokwane City and another big club from Johannesburg.”

Lentjies, who scored nine goals and registered eight assists this season, started his career with FC Fortune and went on to play for the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Celtic.
