Hehehe!
Mamelodi Sundowns
James Mayinga (from Moroka Swallows)
Thuso Phala (from Kaizer Chiefs)

No, No, No No! No wonder that guy was cyring in that Rob Marawa show! Sundowns is a joke manje! Kaizer Chiefs fans cried to management to kick players like Phala, Tostetsi, Nohayo, Gert… and what does Downs do? They sign Phala… I’m not against Phala, but I think the boy will be good as a defender not a striker. He has failed dismally… look people like The Game, Dikotsi, Paul, Isaac and more have failed kuFOOTBALL… they decided to study and work for a leaving….. guys like Phala should be commenting with the likes of The Game of more KICKOFF readers… while enjoying his coffee at his desk.

Professor: heita my brother,,,don't you think Thuso can be of value kwi Downs,,,look at Mhlongo...sumtyms the change of environment can yield positive results (with sum of the players) and others just drop their performances....so I'm giving him the benefit of doubt,,,with age being in his side...I believe he still have sufficient time to learn,,,he's not an old dog who can't learn new tricks,,,and thumbs up to Sundowns,,,signing the early twenties,,,,,angazi obani i retirement home now,,,maybe Platinum Stars....Lol

How can the window period pass without pirates signing a Goalkeeper, a left winger and a target striker. Crazy heh!!! somebody is not doing his work. We need Cale from Ajax or Zongo from Supersport. We Brain Baloyi or Hans Vonk. We need Rogers from Santos or Ndlela from Sundowns. Mashego was a good signing though.

Mzukisi: sumtms it's beta to comment than asking pathetic questions or maybe join Laduma comment facility where they have debates and questions....back to the article - Thuso Phala can run 6 times faster than Dladla plus 6 years and his brains are still capable of grasping and learning unlike S'shimane who's basicly going there to retire...how on earth can a sane manager,,,wants a player as in twenty years ago and after those years still sign him,,,,,it's like marrying a chick you went to school with and now she's having like ten children from ten different daddies...hahahaha Chiefs is a retirement home....next they'll probably sign Manqoba Ngwenya in 2020.....

The Game: Mhlongo was a gud player even playing at Sundowns. Mina i didnt have a problem with him signin' for Bus... my only problem was that he was old to join dem.

For Phala... i think Downs made the worse singin' like Chiefs signin' Zito (lazy). so u cant teach Phala to be a star if he is not - (Radebe) was and is betta than Phala.

Against the belief of many...I believe and this is my own opinion that Phala does have a hidden talent that only those with an eye of an eagle can see!!! He impressed me whilst at Stars and there were tyms i saw some brilliant touches that are only accustomed to talented playerz whilst playing for chiefs. I will not be suprised if he realises his potential at Sunflops! i am a bit sad but happy for him he left Amakhosi, jst the same i was for Radebe. But as the saying goes.... When the SUN goes Down, Amakhosi will rise and shine!!!! Good luck Thuso and wish you all the best!!

You remind me of an argument I had with my friends - about Mhlongo being selected for Bafana Bafana: I said no player can be selected for the sake of just being selected provided he's got sum qualities that make him being recognised as a Bafana material...now some are saying even when he was still at Downs Mayanga has always been a good player same bunch that said he was a cow, and it leaves me with sum stones unturned if we really judge the players according to the teams they play for or their previous teams,,,as for any player who has signed for any particular club: Thuso was once admired by Chiefs faithfuls and with the pace, work rate and commitment he always put: I ONLY PICTURE HIM AS A VALUABLE ASSET KWI DOWNS,,,,WELCOME THUSO, SIYANDA AND MAYINGA KUMA SUNDAWANA AMAHLE....'THE SKY IS THE LIMI'

Who is Siyanda Xulu?

Chiefs were so desparate they gave up 2 players for a Madala like Dladla? shame man, it must be hard to be so poor.

This time i'm content with our signings, no more big names with huge repuations but deliver nothing, this is the way to go. next time, just get 1 or 2 big names, not 11 like last time because at the end of the day it backfires owing to our players lack of profesionalism. they are also afraid of challenges hence after 2 games in the bench they switch off and become nothing but whinners.

Mzukisi : 2009-02-03 11:33 [ Report ]

1995:PW BOTHA SPEECHThe average Black does not plan his life beyond a year:

He was referring to people like you Mzukisi....if we don't win this year's Premiership does it mean we will neva win it,,,,does really a strategy has to be effective within a year, are strategies obstacle free or challenge free....Mzukisi you are nothing but a limited individual who is still suffering from the apartheid regime,,,,leave Downs alone...and whether it take 100 or 1000 years to achieve our goals,,,but the fact is 'The Sky Is The Limit' and wena you can support your teams with no mission, objectives of being African giants,,,thina we are doing whatever we believe is going to get us there,,,,and what we are going thru now is nothing but challanges and obstacles which will teach us one or two vital aspects to consider....during our struggle !!!!
