Posted: 26 May 2016 Time: 15:43

Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia says they have received an offer from Mamelodi Sundowns for one of their players, but have turned it down.

The Team of Choice survived relegation in an epic last-day clash against Jomo Cosmos, but now face another fight – holding onto their players.

Kadodia earlier told KickOff.com that there were various offers for striker Evans Rusike, while captain Kurt Lentjies is also being targeted by a few clubs.

Another player on the radar is Deolin Mekoa, with Kadodia telling this website: “Yes, there have been offers for Deolin, but he is not for sale.

When asked specifically if the offer came from Sundowns, Kadodia responded: “Yes, from Sundowns.”
