National First Division top scorer Thabiso Kutumela is relishing the opportunity to link up with Gift Motupa at Orlando Pirates next season.
Kutumela spearheaded Baroka FC's promotion to the Absa Premiership with 18 goals in 2015/16.
The 22-year-old, who last week confirmed his imminent move to Pirates, is confident he can continue to find the net in the topflight.
"I must get to know them first (the Pirates players) and if I get the chance I will continue to get some goals," says Kutumela, who netted in Bakgaga's 1-1 draw with Milano United on Sunday.
"And I’m so excited to be joining Pirates because I’m going to be play with him (Motupa) and he has been guiding me while I’m here. He said I should avoid many things and I should try focus on my job, and I will be in the starting line if I work hard."
Kutumela is also hopeful he can make Owen da Gama's national U-23 squad for the upcoming Rio Olympics after missing out on the U-23 AFCON in Senegal in December last year.
"Having said that, I will also pray that I make it to the Olympics because I missed to go to Senegal and at least this time around, if I get the chance, I will prove myself."
