PSL transfer news: Onismor Bhasera faces uncertain Bidvest Wits future

Posted: 17 May 2016 Time: 11:29

Onismor Bhasera’s future at Bidvest Wits is hanging in the balance with the club yet to commit on taking the option of a further year that they have on his contract.

The defender is out of contract at the end of June and after having lost his place in the starting XI to S’fiso Hlanti this year the continuation of his stay at the club is now uncertain.

Jose Ferreira, the Wits CEO, tells that the Zimbabwean is among several players at the club whose contracts have options.

“He (Bhasera) is amongst a number of players that have options and we will make decisions at the end of the season. This applies to all players with options,” says Ferreira.

Other players sitting on the fence at the club at the moment are Dillon Sheppard, Henrico Botes, Calvin Kadi, Getaneh Kebede (currently on loan at University of Pretoria), Robin Ngalande (currently on loan at Platinum Stars) amongst others.

The Clever Boys recently released nomadic striker Kris Bright.
