Three players to leave Free State Stars

Free State Stars are set to release two players, while another could make his way to Mamelodi Sundowns.

According to our source at the club, both Robert Sankara and Hendrik Somaeb could be on their way out after struggling to make an impact under Givoanni Solinas.

Meanwhile, Lucky Mohomi continues to attract interest from the big clubs.

KickOff.com reported last week that Sundowns and Orlando Pirates were interested, and have now learnt that The Brazilians sent Trott Moloto to watch the player in action at Goble Park during Stars’ Nedbank Cup defeat to The Buccaneers.

Elsewhere in the Free State, Bloemfontein Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco confirms that Chiukepo Msowoya will rejoin the club for pre-season training in June.

The Malawian international spent a few weeks on trial with Celtic at the beginning of the season. He is currently on the books of Costa do Sol in Mozambique.

“We have not signed him yet. He is coming back again in June for pre-season,” Konco tells KickOff.com.
