Morgan Gould feels lady luck was against Kaizer Chiefs in their clash with Bloemfontein Celtic

Kaizer Chiefs defender Morgan Gould feels lady luck was not on their side when pressing for goals against Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday.

Amakhosi were held to a barren draw at FNB Stadium on a night in which their league crown passed over to Mamelodi Sundowns.

"I think it’s just a bit of confidence in front of goals," said Gould, who had a great chance to score in the first half but shot high into the stands from 14 yards out.

"We have good strikers, good players, and everybody tries to give their best all the time. It’s just one of those things … lady luck not on our side."

The former SuperSport United captain gave credit to Celtic for their pressing game.

"It was a good match; you know, they are very fast and they like counter-pressing. They made us run a lot and they played well, but we also had spells where we played well.

"It’s once again one of those things where we try and keep a tight defence and try and score, but unfortunately we kept a tight defence but we didn’t score. It’s one of those games."
