Bloemfontein Celtic COO Chabeli Motsamai fires Kaizer Chiefs warning

Posted: 3 May 2016 Time: 14:43

Bloemfontein Celtic COO Chabeli Motsamai has warned Kaizer Chiefs they are taking on Phunya Sele Sele at the wrong time.

Celtic will visit Chiefs at FNB Stadium tomorrow in high spirits after destroying Ajax Cape Town with a 5-0 scoreline on the weekend.

Amakhosi, meanwhile, are smarting from a 3-1 defeat at Absa Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Motsamai told his club's website: "On Sunday, our players showed what they are made with an emphatic (win). We respect Chiefs and agree that they have a brilliant team but unfortunately they face us at the wrong time with our players positively looking forward to finish the league in a better position."

Motsamai added: "It is no secret that our games against them (Chiefs) carry a lot of history and both the supporters and players hate losing against the other. This one we owe it to our faithful supporters and the players are even more ready to fight gallantly, hence they are confident about another great win. We have a blend of experienced and young, talented players who can cause havoc and that is exactly what we are aiming to do."

Coach Serame Letsoaka will be without suspended fullback Alfred Ndengane, while the Glamour Boys are minus defender Lorenzo Gordinho.
