SuperSport United eye three Kaizer Chiefs players

SuperSport United have reportedly identified three Kaizer Chiefs players they are looking to sign ahead of the new season.

Reyaad Pieterse is thought to be on his way to Matsatsantsa after turning down Amakhosi’s contract offer.

Also on Stuart Baxter’s list is Reneilwe Letsholonyane, who is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal at Naturena, despite reportedly agreeing in principle to stay on.

Baxter said over the weekend that he would be interested in signing Letsholonyane – or any other good player – should he become available.

The other player who could make the move is Siphelele Mthembu, who has found game-time hard to come by since arriving from Platinum Stars.

He has only started three League games this season and come on as a substitute eight times, and is yet to find the back of the net.

Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung told City Press this weekend that they were “reservicing and restructuring the side”.

SuperSport have already secured the services of Polokwane City midfielder Cole Alexander on a pre-contract.
