PSL suspension list: Gordinho, Castro, Morris, Matsi, Ndengane, Maruping

Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho and Mamelodi Sundowns striker Leonardo Castro are among the players suspended for the next round of Absa Premiership action.

The pair came face to face when Sundowns beat Chiefs 3-1 this past Saturday, with both men scoring and getting in trouble with the referee at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Gordinho received his marching orders for a second booking, while Castro was cautioned by Robert Smith.

Amakhosi will next host Bloemfontein Celtic at FNB Stadium on Wednesday night, with Phunya Sele Sele also without the suspended Alfred Ndengane.

Log leaders Downs will tomorrow visit relegation-threatened neighbours University of Pretoria, who are likewise minus suspended midfielder Mpho Maruping.

In the four matches this weekend, Orlando Pirates duo Lehlogonolo Masalesa and Mpho Makola are suspended for their home game against struggling Maritzburg United, who will be without defender Pagiso Sanoka.

Free State Stars striker Ayanda Nkosi will also be unavailable when they host Platinum Stars.
