Posted: 20 April 2016 Time: 16:59

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeepers Itumeleng Khune and Brilliant Khuzwayo are back in training following hamstring problems but Tsepo Masilela is now injured.

Amakhosi coach Steve Komphela named youngster Luthando Sixhaso on the bench as Reyaad Pieterse started between the sticks against Ajax Cape Town in their last match.

Centre-back Daniel Cardoso is set to undergo minor surgery on his hand, but should be available against University of Pretoria on April 27.

The club’s medical team has also revealed on the Chiefs website that experienced left-back Masilela will be out of action for 10 days with a thigh strain.

There are no updates on midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane and right-back Siboniso Gaxa, both of whom have knee injuries.

With Gaxa the club has not given an estimated return date while Letsholonyane is “taking it step-by-step to ensure that he recovers completely”.
