Kaizer Chiefs' William Twala expects tough clash with Ajax Cape Town

Posted: 15 April 2016 Time: 08:31

Kaizer Chiefs newcomer William Twala is confident Amakhosi will soon turn the corner.

The league champions will host Ajax Cape Town at FNB Stadium on Saturday night looking to snap a six-game winless run in all competitions.

Chiefs are fourth on the table with 40 points from 24 games - 15 points shy of pace-setting Mamelodi Sundowns, and nine ahead of ninth-placed Ajax.

“We are working hard at training and soon the wanted results will come,” Twala told his club's official website.

“Ajax are a good side,” added Twala. “We need the points as much as they do. It will be a tough match.”

Meanwhile, the former Chippa United winger said he received a boost in motivation with his national team call-up for the recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Cameroon.

“It was a great motivator to be selected for the national team. I gained a lot of experience from Bafana Bafana. I’m working for the team and I want us to win as a team.”
