Bafana Bafana defender Anele Ngcongca tells admits he is yet to make a decision regarding his club future as the end of his loan spell in France approaches.
Ngcongca is currently on a season-long loan at FC Troyes from KRC Genk in Belgium. The 29-year-old’s contract with Genk expires in 2018 and he has to decide on his next move.
“As soon as this season ends I’m going back to Genk where we will have a meeting with the club and decide the way forward,” Ngcongca tells KickOff.com.
“I’ve had a great season here, it was a different experience altogether compared to what I was used to in Belgium. Every match provided new challenges and I enjoyed every minute of it but now that my loan is almost finished, I really don’t know what will happen.
“But I will speak to my agent Mike Makaab and Genk and then make a decision from there.”
Ngcongca is still out of action after tearing his calf muscle while on international duty but the player says he is targeting to play three out of the six remaining French Ligue 1 matches.
“That is my aim because I’m not a hundred percent fit, but we will see what happens in three weeks,” he concludes.
