Platinum Stars will decide whether to keep Sundowns' Bongi Ntuli at the end of the season

Posted: 24 March 2016 Time: 08:59

Platinum Stars have not ruled out the possibility of keeping striker Bongi Ntuli beyond the current season.

Ntuli, who is on loan at Stars from Mamelodi Sundowns, has added value in Rustenburg, netting five goals in all competitions and reducing Eleazar Rodgers to a bench role in recent matches.

Stars general manager Senzo Mazingiza is impressed with Ntuli's contribution but stopped short of discussing his future.

"He is a Sundowns player. He is on loan to us. No one can dispute that he has done well for us this season," Mazingiza tells KickOff.com.

"We have to wait until the end of the season to commit ourselves whether we will want to keep him or not."

Mazingiza also declined to discuss the fate of Mahlatse Makudubela, who is on loan at Golden Arrows but is rumoured to have signed a pre-contract with Orlando Pirates.

"Makudubela is still our player until the end of the season. At the moment he is on loan to Golden Arrows, that's the only thing I can say."
