Orlando Pirates midfielder Luvuyo Memela labelled their win over Jomo Cosmos as the "perfect evening" after being crowned the Man of the Match.
Memela grabbed two assists as the Buccaneers romped to a 5-0 win over Ezenkosi at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The 28-year-old played a key part in creating numerous goal scoring chances for the home side and, despite not getting on the scoresheet, said the evening was "perfect".
"It was a perfect evening," Memela told SuperSport after the match.
"As the coach said, we need to work hard even though we beat Chiefs and won three games in a row, we still had to win this one to climb the ladder."
The former Cape Town All Stars attacker, who is currently in his first season at the Houghton-based outfit, promises there is still more to come as he looks to find his feet in the team.
"It's all about patience and working hard, but there's still more to come," he adds.
"I can score goals - last season I scored 15 goals for Cape Town All Stars - there's still more, it's just that now I have to still know the guys and all that."
