Darren Keet's KV Kortrijk beat May Mahlangu's Sint-Truiden, while Kamohelo Mokotjo helped FC Twente to their fourth consecutive Eredivisie win.
Keet managed his eighth cleansheet of the Jupiler Pro League campaign when Kortrijk beat Sint-Truiden 3-0 on Saturday evening, with Mah Mahlangu getting unable to help his side avoid their 14th league defeat of the season.
Elsewhere in Belgium, Ayanda Patosi managed 75 minutes on the park but was unable to help Lokeren end their seven-match winless streak as they drew 0-0 at home to Genk on Saturday evening.
Over in the Netherlands, Mokotjo helped FC Twente continue their good run in the Eredivisie when they beat Cambuur 3-0 at home, to extend their winning streak to four matches. The 24-year-old featured the full 90 minutes.
In France, Anele Ngcongca's bottom-of-the-log Troyes suffered a 3-1 Ligue 1 defeat to second-placed Monaco, while Kermit Erasmus got another run out with Stade Reannais' reserve team, but was unable to get on the scoresheet as he featured the full 90 minutes.
Sunday's fixtures will see Thulani Serero's Ajax Amsterdam face Excelsior in the Eredivisie, while Andile Jali's KV Oostende host Gent in the Pro League - both matches set for a 15h30 kick-off.
Dino Ndlovu's Anorthosis Famagusta host top of the table APOEL in Cyprus, while Daylon Claasen's 1860 Minich face Vfl Bochum in the German second division.
