Four Orlando Pirates players a game away from suspension

A quartet of Orlando Pirates players know they have to tread carefully in tonight’s match-up against Free State Stars if they want to feature in Saturday’s encounter against Mpumamlanga Black Aces.
Bucs play their catch-up game against an Ea Lla Koto side desperate for victory – Stars have lost three of their last four League matches, and will no doubt be going all out against the Buccaneers who are wounded themselves, having lost their last PSL encounter 2-1 to log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
Yet key players Thamsanqa Gabuza, Thabo Rakhale, Issa Sarr and Thandani Ntshumayelo all head into tonight’s encounter on three yellow cards, meaning they are just one booking away from missing Sunday afternoon’s clash against Black Aces – a fixture where victory would give Bucs a major boost in their goal for a top four finish this season.
Pirates will also be without veteran defender Siyabonga Sangweni, who has been ruled out for the rest of the seaosn with a knee injury.
For Stars, only defender Robert Sankara sits on three yellow cards, meaning a booking tonight against Bucs will see him miss this weekend’s away trip to Chippa United.
No players from either side are serving suspensions for tonight's game.
Kick-off at Goble Park is scheduled for 19:30.
