Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lucky Baloyi admits it has been a while since the team have been consistent in their game, and urges more of the same going forward.
Chiefs have notched up a three-match winning streak for the first time this season but still find themselves down in fourth position and 10 points off the pace.
Baloyi admits disappointment at how the Glamour Boys have started this season, but wants the team to build on their Absa Premiership momentum, which has seen them pick up 13 points in their last four matches.
The 24-year-old, who has made just five starts and two sub appearances for Steve Komphela's side, has called on his teammates to close the gap on runaway leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
"We have been disappointing this season by not winning games on the trot, and we are looking to get more consistent," said Baloyi.
"If you check, we've won one, drawn one and then we lose one, and that is not what we want.
"We want to be consistent so, from now on, that is what we have told ourselves we need to do.
"We have to be consistent in all the games that are remaining [if we want to catch Sundowns]."
Chiefs will be switching their focus to the CAF Champions League this weekend when they travel to the Comoros for their preliminary round tie against Volcan de Moroni on Sunday.
