Mosa Lebusa reveals training ground move for Ruzaigh Gamildien goal

Posted: 29 January 2016 Time: 23:02

Ajax Cape Town defender Mosa Lebusa revealed that a training ground move paid off for Ruzaigh Gamildien's winning goal against Golden Arrows.

Lebusa, who captained the Urban Warriors to a 1-0 victory over Abafana Bes'thende, was relieved with the three points after their recent run of poor form in the Absa Premiership.

"Yes, it was [a very important three points], considering we haven't been playing great lately," conceded the 23-year-old.

"I think it was a well deserved three points, I think we worked hard and thankfully we held on to get the full three points and also a clean sheet."

The Welkom-born fullback says a training ground move for the goal paid dividends, and credited Gamildien for the execution of his 34th minute volley.

"We've been working on the crossing and finishing in training, and I think 'Zaikey' executed it [his shot] very well. Well done to him, and I'm very happy for him."
