AmaZulu have re-signed the attack-minded Luyanda Hlongwa and brought in academy graduate Zola Jingxi.
Hlongwa has penned a six-month contract with the NFD side, who he represented in the 2012/13 season. The 28-year-old has also been on the books of Polokwane City, Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic and Roses United
Jingxi, 18, has inked a three-year deal in Durban from ABC Motsepe League outfit Sgcino Cosmos, having previously played for Usuthu's U-17 team.
"Luyanda I think he has also shown great desire and hunger to get back to his best," AmaZulu coach Steve Barker told the club's website.
"He is showing that he is capable of doing the job at the highest level for us. He is a very versatile player and with the injury to Thabo Moloi, who could be out for a couple of months, Luyanda can come in and add cover in that position or upfront.
"Part of the reason is how well they have done and to add depth considering the fact we have couple of months to go, with also the Nedbank Cup coming up."
Barker said of midfielder Jingxi: "It’s always been our aim that we want to promote players within our structures. Zola has developed over the last year to the level that I believe he can get given his chance in the first team.
"It’s always exciting to promote young players and I believe he has a bright future. He is a hard-working young player with good quality that I believe he will add depth and good enthusiasm in the team."
