Polokwane City midfielder Cole Alexander has rejected reports that he has signed a pre-contract with Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 26-year-old, who missed a chunk of the start of the campaign due to a contractual dispute with Rise and Shine, remains frustrated at how things have materialised this season.
However, he insists he has not signed with any club.
“There has been interest from Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and one always feels chuffed when coaches show interest in a player. That says a lot you know.
“But I have not put pen to paper at any club for that matter.”
Alexander could be well on his way to SuperSport United after Stuart Baxter was appointed as Matsatsantsa’s new coach following the sacking of Gordon Igesund earlier today.
The midfielder has long been a favourite of Baxter when he was still coaching Kaizer Chiefs and was in the process of bringing the player to Naturena last season.
