Djurgardens confirm four-year deal for Mihlali Mayambela

Djurgardens IF have confirmed that Mihlali Mayambela has signed a four-year contract with the club from Cape Town All Stars.

Mayambela linked up with the Swedish outfit on the weekend, following in the footsteps of his older brother Mark.

Mark enjoyed a short stint at Djurgardens last season before moving on to Royal Eagles, Chippa United and most recently SuperSport United.

'First it was his older brother Mark here who played for the Blue Stripes in the season 2014, and now it is Mihlali Mabhuti Mayambela’s turn. The fleet-footed winger left a good impression at Djurgardens during a trial game last summer. The club has signed him on a four-year contract,' Djurgardens said on their official website.

'So Mabhuti came up to Stockholm on Sunday to sign a four-year contract and he will train with the team on Monday. We feel that we have good quality in our squad but here we have a young player who will be a long-term solution for us.'
