A Colins Mbesuma brace ensured Mpumalanga Black Aces come from behind to beat Bidvest Wits 2-1 at the Bidvest Stadium.
Mbesuma scored on each side of half-time to cancel out Thulani Hlatshwayo's opener, to help Amazayoni replace the Clever Boys at the summit of the Absa Premiership table.
Hlatshwayo handed the home side the lead in the 10th minute, after he rose well to head home from a Daine Klate free-kick, leaving Shuaib Walters stranded in goals.
Seven minutes later, Mbesuma levelled matters when Lehlohonolo Nonyane picked out Lebogang Manyama on the wing, who then found Nonyane inside the box to pick out the Zambian striker for his 10th goal of the season.
Manyama then had an opportunity that could have handed the visitors the lead in the 25th minute, after he did well to control under pressure, but his shot hit the left-hand corner of the goalposts.
A minute later, Phakamani Mahlambi had a brilliant one-on-one opportunity but Walters did excellently to rush off his line and block the striker's effort.
A shakey Aces defence have Walters to thank for denying Klate, Mahlambi, and Jabulani Shongwe before the break, and keeping the score level at the half-time.
Muhsin Ertugral made an ealry change, bringing on Aubrey Ngoma for Bhongolwethu Jayiya at the resumption of the second half, which gave his side an early advantage.
Five minutes after coming on, Ngoma picked out Manyama with a pin-point pass and the winger forced a good save out of Josephs at the near post.
Ngoma was again in the thick of things in the 53rd minute, when Mbesuma picked the ball up inside the Wits box and teed it up for the substitute to fire at goal, but Jospehs pulled of a superb save to keep the score at 1-1.
The home side struggled to find fluency in their play in the second half, and rarely created any clear chances at goal.
And then, against the run of play, Limbikani Mzava played a wonderful long ball, that caught the WIts defence napping, to pick out Mbesuma, who fired home with Josephs to beat.
The home side threw everything forward in an attempt to earn a point, but Ertugral's side held on for a famous win to complete a five-match winning streak.
