Kaizer Chiefs injury update Lucky Baloyi returns to training, nothing on George Lebese groin

Posted: 13 January 2016 Time: 22:09

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lucky Baloyi returned to training this week after an ankle problem but there was no update from the club on George Lebese’s injury.

Lebese reportedly tore a groin muscle in the 0-0 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns last Saturday but is still being assessed by the club.

Amakhosi’s top scorer this season with eight goals did not train on Wednesday amid the likelihood that he is set to be sidelined for a lengthy period.

However, the club’s website states that “the medical team will continue to assess him and a decision will be made if he will be able to recover on time for Sunday’s match against Bloemfontein Celtic”.
