University of Pretoria's bid to sign Lebohang Mokoena and Lindokuhle Mbatha has hit a snag.
The Absa Premiership strugglers are keen to recruit the attackers on loan this transfer window from Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, Sundowns will only release the pair if AmaTuks pay their full salaries during their time at Tuks Stadium.
In the past the Brazilians typically covered half of the wage bill of the players they farmed out.
"AmaTuks have approached Sundowns for both Mbatha and Mokoena," says a source close to Downs.
"The only stumbling block is the salaries. Sundowns want Tuks to take over the full salaries. It's difficult because of the players' salaries at Sundowns."
