Enyimba want justice

Enyimba say they want justice as regards the transfer of goalkeeper, Niyi Fabiyi to Bayelsa United.

Media officer of the club, Tonnex Chukwu told KickOffNigeria.com that Fabiyi is their goalkeeper who was wrongly registered for Bayelsa United by the NPL when they had not fulfilled transfer conditions.

According to Chukwu, they signed Fabiyi from Bayelsa United for a fee of a little over three million naira (about $30,000) as transfer fees and want to give him back to Bayelsa for about four million ($40,000) but Bayelsa signed him without paying the transfer fees.

"We discussed with them but rather than pay up, they just signed him on and the NPL registered him which is very wrong," Chukwu said.

"I know they want to use him for the CAF Confederation Cup and we do not want it to seem like Enyimba are trying to stall the progress of any club so we want the NPL to look into the matter fast and ensure Bayelsa United do the right thing," Chukwu said.
