South Africa U-23 star Gift Motupa is carrying a knock but is expected to recover in time for the U-23 AFCON semi-final showdown with Algeria.
Motupa hurt his ankle in the 1-0 win over Tunisia in M'Bour, Senegal this past Friday.
The Orlando Pirates midfielder is a key performer for Owen da Gama's outfit, reasserting his value with a brace in a 3-2 victory over Zambia in the previous Group A tie.
Motupa is the only injury concern for Da Gama heading into Wednesday's game, which will start at 20h30 (SA time) at Léopold Senghor Stadium in Dakar.
The earlier semi-final pits hosts Senegal against West African rivals Nigeria at the same venue, with kick-off set at 17h00 (SA time).
The top three finishers at the competition will represent Africa at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
